  1. There is no regulation against it.

You *may* have to answer questions to French customs, and *may* be asked to pay duty on what you're bringing in, but you can still do it.

  2. You'll have to inform the rental company your taking the van overseas. The vehicle hire cost will rise.

  3. You must tell the rental company as it may affect your excess

  4. hiya nick, you have to pay mileage on all hire van's/car's. you pay a deposit when you hire it, then if its had no accidents, you get your deposit back.you don't pay insurance,as they do that themselves.tell them where you are going to. it should not  be a problem.the car's/van's are all in the RAC..Kendal's are the cheapest around the south of England.the van comes with a full tank of petrol/diesel,but you will have to top it up on your return.hope this helps you.have a safe journey and all the best.x*x

  5. don't forget the spare bulbs , warning triangle , GB sticker , warning jacket , tow rope , headlight deflectors , forgotten what else , you need a diferent insurance cover and breakdown cover ,  the hire company have to arrange that .
