Can I hook my sub woofers and amp to a Toyota Prius Hybrid?

Is that possible? I gotta have my beat in my car. Will that mess up how the car operates?

Hey people , the Prius does not loose mpg because you hook up an aftermarket sub/amp. The battery that runs the electric motor is a different battery than what runs your accessories. The battery to hook up sub is in the back and the jbl sound system has the factory amp under the passenger seat. You will need to tap into the wiring for the signal to amp wire and then just tap into rear speaker wires for hi level input. This does not hurt your prius system unless you are running a huge amp and in that case you would need a capacitor just like any other car would
