Can I hook up a high def dvr directly to my high def computer monitor via hdmi?

Wondering if the dvr acts as a tuner card and just displays the image on the monitor.

  1. no because i have one and i luv it any ways mine doesn't do that most don't but very little do!


  2. Yes, your DVR acts as a tuner.  Connecting it to your monitor (assuming it also has speakers) should work fine.
