I have a 1989 buick riviera that has a CRT screen radio that is wired into the brain of the car, including the heater/gauges...etc. I was told by a dealer my only opportunity was to use a CD changer, which I have, but unfortunately, it doesnt have RCA's either. Can I run power right off of the Cd changer without using RCA's?

  1. yes if the amp doesn't have a high input use a line converter

  2. on every amp you have a high side input all you hve to do is run pigtails off a speaker into the amp. good luck

  3. Amber is right.  Radioshack sells rca on one side, exposed wire on the other.  Just hook the amp up in the car, piggyback the exposed wires to your rear deck speakers and run the rca to the amp.  Good to go!
