  1. Yes, If you're using an HDMI cable you can run that to the TV and the A/V plugs that come with the system to your stereo.

    In the "Settings" part of the PS3 dashboard go to the "sound" configuration, select "output" and select the A/V Cables for Audio output. The HDMI cable (or whatever you're using will still run the video to the TV.

  2. i dont have a ps3 but on the ps2 there is an optical fibre port, get an obticle fibre wire and your on a roll

  3. get an audio/video receiver.  Plug ps3 and tv in one of the inputs behind the receiver.

  4. Depends on the type of surround sound you have in place. I would need to know more details to help. I have done it for my system.

  5. the ps3 has a digital/ optical out in the back.. if your surround system has that; it can be capable of playing 7.1 surround sound.. good luck.

    oh and of course... you can skip all that and just use the HDMI cable to your receiver then you'll have the same effect!

  6. I THINK YOU CAN, I JUST DONT KNOW HOW..

    LOL =]
