Can I hook up two TiVo boxes to one TV?

Question

I have two series 2 TiVos, one is a single turner and the other is a dual turner. Is it possible to hook both boxes up to one TV so I can record 3 shows at once or is it one TiVo per TV? If I can hook up both TiVos, how would I go about doing that?

Yes, its possible, as long as you have more than one input jack on your tv.  The best way would be to use 2 sets of red, white, and yellow RCA cables.  Just plug one set into each tivo, and the other end into the red,white, and yellow input jacks on your tv.  Then all you would need to do is change your tv input to the input that the tivo you want to use is hooked up to.

you can you would probably need a RF Swticher if you use and RF Input if you use a scart you will need a scart mulitadaptor, if you don't have 2 scart sockets in your tv.

Split incoming  cable signal into both boxes.

Send S-video/composite signal to S-video/composite switcher then Switcher to TV.

Or

Send one to s-video/composite input on TV and other to channel 3 input on ant-in on TV.

Yes, I have three hooked up to one TV.

Well, do you have any A/V jack inputs on your TV? If you have at least one set of these and a input for cable, then you can connect one set to the A/V inputs and another to the cable input. If you have more than one set of A/V inputs then just hook up your TiVo's to them. If you are getting cable then you'll need a splitter on the cable line so you can have cable going into each of the TiVo's.
