Can I install Win XP over Win ME on my eMachine? ?

Question

Is it a simple procedure that I can do? or should I send it into a computer store and let them charge me $300+ for it? Is it worth it?

Its fairly easy. You can do it. just put in the CD and follow directions

You can upgrade to xp from me BUT you should check for the minimum spec required to run xp first. All you need to do is put the xp disk in while your logged into ME and the cd will give you the options.

Personally i always go for a freash install as it avoids alot problems.
