  1. The dishwasher comes with installation instructions. Read through them and determine whether or not you have the skills for the task. It isn't very difficult.

  2. You can call a plumber or a handyman that has experience with both plumbing and electrical. If you have no prior knowledge of either, I would not recommend doing it yourself.

Handymen are much cheaper snd can do the same quality work, most are listed in the phone book, but beware: some places are referral services: if they tell you they will have someone call you, chances are it's a referral service and you will be charged a fee. A good handyman will answer his own phone.

  3. Yes, you could learn it, and buy the necessary tools, and go through the cuss and moan installation...or you could have the installation done properly by the store you bought it from.  Consider installation as part of the cost of the purchase.

You need to know that if you install it yourself, and there is water/ electrical damage during use, your insurance company will do the big =( over paying for the cost of fixing your boo-boo!

Also, if the dishwasher is damaged during YOUR installation, your warrantee isn't worth a f**t in the wind!!!

  4. There's  more to it than meets the eye, call a plumber. You'll be glad you did.

  5. It can be done.Watch out for the knock out in the disposal(where dishwasher drains) I have run across many "profesional"?? instalations where they forget to knock it out.Be sure you have electricity close to where you want it to go.However, if you know nothing about plumbing may be you should reconsider as everything needs to be done to code.
