  1. You do need a license but you can get it on June 21st - they have a safety course that day.

  2. For Rhode Island all those born on or after January 1, 1986, are required to pass an approved boater education course before they legally may operate any vessel powered by a motor of more than 10 horsepower. Anyone operating a personal watercraft, regardless of age, must have passed an approved boater education course.

Anyone operating a PWC, regardless of age, must have passed an approved boater education course. It is illegal for the owner of a PWC to knowingly permit operation of his or her PWC in violation of this law.

  3. You can find out here; http://www.boat-ed.com/ri/handbook/

  4. ROBERT H/WHO ELSE KNOWS?

I heard there was a course on the 21st regarding Jet Skis. What kind of course is this and where will it be held? I just bought a jet ski and need advice. Please email me ASAP if you know the answer to: NickRI78@yahoo.com. Thank you!!
