Can I just ask a question to get points?

You will get some points when you vote for a best answer.  It does cost you 5 points to ask a question though.

I think you will get points for thumbs up on your questions too.

Asking a question costs 5 points...answering questions gets 2 points.

asking questions will deduct five points from you. if you choose the best answer then you get three points back. if you choose to let it go to a public vote then you lose the five points. if your question doesnt get any answers you get your five points back and your question is deleted.

no you lose5 points for question but answering them gets 2

for each one then others will vote upon best  recives 10  additional that's all!

If you ask questions you lose points.  You can only get points for answering the questions
