I have two A-Levels grades D and E but need an extra 40 UCAS point regardless of the fact I have a degree for the career of my choice. All I want to do is sit an exam in any subject to get the points needed (AS grade C will do). Can I do this or do I have to go back to college?

  1. i think the best thing to do would be to get directly in contact with the college you have in mind. im sure if you explain your situation, they will have no problem with it, though they may ask for a small admin charge.

  2. A dyslexic guy walks into a bra.

  3. Yes

  4. Yes, but you can't just turn up.

You need to enrol as an external candidate through your local education authority and they put you forward.

Some authorities think it looks bad if they have lots of failures in their area, so ask for proof that you are actually following a course of study
