Can I keep 2 male budgies in the same cage???

I need 2 know....thank youuuu! I want a boy and a girl but I dont want them to have babies!

  2. You can as long as one of the males isn’t really aggressive. You normally don’t have to worry about males. It is usually the females because they tend to be more moody then the males. As I say this I have the sweetest female but all budgies are different. I wouldn’t put two females in the same cage but I know you can have a female and a male.

  3. I wouldn't keep two male budgies in the same cage.  If you want a boy and a girl you are going to have to put your budgies in separate cages if you don't want them to have babies.  Karen

  4. it depends, i had a boy and a girl budgie in the same for years. nothing happened. if you are thinking of putting 2 boys in the same cage, make sure they are from the same cage at the pet store, that way they are familiar with each other. if they are from different cages or places, they will try to take over the cage and will attack each other.
