I know about the silver dollars and I will probably get some more since they are schooling fish.

Mainly I'm worried about the Midas and the Dempsey fighting? Will it be bad? I'm thinking when I start them out I'll put a divider in the tank so they can get used to each other but won't be able to attack. Is that a good idea?

  1. if you get them small and have them grow up together they should be fine but if you are getting full grown fish you might have a problem..  but you sound like you know way your doing. as far as putting the divider in. the only thing is i wouldn't put it in right away. they might be ok together. i would put the divider in as soon as they show serious signs of aggression.  but you could prevent this by adding alot of hiding spaces they could clame as there own on opposite sides of the tank.  also if you add them to the tank at the same time. everything will be mutual territory and this also will help with aggression. i don't exactly know the whole situation but  good luck  hope i helped!
