Can I keep a breeding pair of Convict Cichlid in??

A 5 gallon tank they are 1 and a half inches this is only a temporary home i have a 25 they will eventually go in and what are the chances that they will breed together.

chances are they will breed even in the small tank. just so you know they will outgrow the 25 gal. tank to. they are a large cichlid but breed at the drop of a hat.
