Can I keep a f**t in a jar?

My mate 'cupped' one and threw it at me today and I want to get him back. I am currently brewing some good ones, but don't think I can hold them till tomorrow. So, can I store one for use later? Will it die over night or age like a good wine?

Yes, probably, but you will need to do it carefully.

If there is anything between you and the jar (like clothing) you may not be able to do this as effectively. Also make sure that the gas will be propelled straight into the jar and will not have a chance to go around it or to the sides. Then you will need to seal the jar as quickly as possible without moving it much or else the gas will be pushed out. Also don't do this in a room with any sort of air current or the f**t could be blown away.

I don't know what will happen when you store the f**t but the more f**t you have and the less extra air, the less diluted your f**t will become and the more potent when you exact revenge.

Good luck with your f**t trapping, it is just crazy enough to work.

use a  zip-lock bag ,they have the strenght of air thight containers,and really works ,try it ,that should do the trick!

A jar won't work because it's impossible to transfer the gas without exposure to air, resulting in immediate f**t death.  Instead, pass the gas into a bathtub full of hot water.  Keep the seepage slow and steady to form the largest bubble possible.  After formation, gently coat the bubble with hairspray to improve its tensile strength and resistance to the drying effects of the air.  If others in the household use the same bathroom or you can't keep the room itself at a constant minimum of 70 degrees Fahrenheit, this method is doomed to fail.  Your other option is a Mylar balloon.  Mylar being the critical word, as latex balloons are porous and thus useless in this application.  Insert the inflation tip at least two inches into your exhaust pipe (a coating of Vaseline will aid with both insertion and preserving the air lock).  Pinch the balloon tightly closed with a surgical forceps prior to removal.  Store in a warm, dry location away from direct sunlight.  The advantage of this method is portability as well as the opportunity to use Mylar balloons with slogans such as "SURPRISE!" or even your intended victim's name printed on them.

we used to do it in the army all the time.  prep the jar first so it looks like something is in it, leaves like you have a bug or some thing.  then sit f**t and cap quickly.  Get him as interested as you can the closer he gets to the jar the better.

My mate Arthur Stocker collects his farts in a Winchester bottle by farting in the bath, collecting the bubbles & transfering them via tube & a tundish to the bottle. About once a month he releases them behind the setee when his mother inlaw visits.

yes, put the jar over the area from where the gas will come out, hold it there, carefully slide a lid over the jar, then put the jar over your friends nose and slide off the lid.

Depends on if you want to light it or sniff it...

The Methane burns well but it is lighter than air so do your f**t in the jar while standing on your head.

The Sulfur Dioxide is heavier than air and it stinks of c**p so sit on the jar for good storage effect.

You could always drop a bit c**p in the bottom if you want a flaming stinker!
