When I was a kid, I always wanted to catch a praying mantis, but I never could. Now, I just went out to weed my garden, and I caught a little baby! I put it in a jar with air holes.

Can I keep it as a pet? How do I feed it? Do they drink water?

  1. um ima have to go with animal lovers answeres but its best not to..because they need the bugs from outside...and i wudnt wana be kept ina book D: wud u...:P but if ul take good care of it..ok :D

  2. you can keep it as a pet. when they are babies they eat fruit flies. and as they get older you can feed them bigger bugs. you might want to put plants in with him and water the plants a little so he can drink the drops off of it.

  3. Only if you live in a church.

It won't live very long at all. It is not a pet, it is wild. You are vegan and you are going to contribute to it's untimely death? Doesn't make sense.

P.S. Of course you are not going to eat it, but you will be contributing to it's untimely death because it won't live long in captivity. That is why I am surprised that a vegan would do this.
