Can I keep degus in plastic bin cage ?

I have 4 degus and I want to that can I keep them in plastic bin cages .

Um, no.

Degus like to climb, and a plastic bin cage doesn't allow this.

They need a cage with bars (like a ferret cage) or square mesh (like chinchillas.)

most def not at all!! not only will they chew right through it but thay cant climb at all. u have to get like a huge ferret cage or something like that!! and remmeber NO plastic!!! i have 3 degus and i had a plastic bottomed cage at they chewed right through it!!! good luck w/ ur lil darlings!! they are amazing pets. email me if u have ne other ?s on degus!!!
