Question:

Can I keep getting court supervision in IL?

I got a ticket in DuPage County, IL about 5 months ago, and did court supervision which lasted 3 months. I just got another ticket with option for court supervision and I'm wondering if the first ticket is "gone" or still on record? I'm worried because I've heard that I could lose my license if I get 3 tickets in one year. I know it would be bad if I get another ticket within the next 3 months, but suppose I don't, and then I get another 4 months from now, that would technically be 3 tickets in a year. Or does the successful completion of court supervision actually wipe the ticket off the record? Thanks.

  1. You may get another court supervision but it is doubtful.

Did you take traffic school the first time??  If you did - you went for 4 hours - there is an 8 hour class available for persons in your situation.

I am assuming you are over 21 - and this would all apply.
