You cannot keep a native wild bird unless it has been captive bred--the UK has laws against possessing wild animals, and if the bird was taken from the wild, you'd wind up facing jail time and some pretty hefty fines. Here in the US we have a place called Corvid Ranch that breeds jackdaws for pets, but I'm not aware of any groups in the UK that do so.
