My front steps is covered with ants. They don't come inside the house but they get all over everything including my baby when we are on my deck. Is there anything I can do to kill them? Is there any natural stuff I can use, at least to keep them away? I heard lemon juice drives them away but I doubt that? They are not carpenter ants they are just little tiny ants and they drive us nuts!!

  1. White vinegar along the base of the steps and a vinegar and water wash on the deck.  It won't kill them but it will keep them off. ; )

  2. I have the same problem, I use raid ant killer. You need to locate the source of the ant hole, stick the small tube down the hole, that is attached to the can. It releases a foam an you will know when you are finished, because the foam will start rising to the surface. It destroys the colony.

  3. they wont go away until you fing the nest.  for your purposes ANYTHING will kill ants.  I have them in my kitchen and they are a pest, i have sprinkled black pepper ( fresh ground) to keep them at bay.
