  1. I kiss mine all the time I have never had a problem. But don't kiss your hamster if you have a cold. They can easly catch a cold and get pnoenomia

  2. Germs.....Germs....Germs

    need i say more

  3. do you have a thing for animals ??

  4. I wouldn't

  5. wait until he bites your lip...then you will know why you shouldnt

  6. yes, You can. But i don't know if he wants to kiss you back, so most probably you'll end up getting bit on the lip.

  7. Yes, you can kiss your hamster ... but you should do this only after you have had your hamster long enough that it is bonded to you, and is used to being held, handled, and carried by you.  If you have any food right before you kiss your hamster you could get bitten, because hamsters are extremely nearsighted, and if they 'smell food' they 'bite' to pick up the food.  I know you can kiss your hamster, though, because I kissed my hamsters (I owned several from age 7 to adulthood) and my kids kissed their hamsters.  You can NOT get any 'disease' from a hamster, but you could get bitten if you move too quickly and have the smell of food on your mouth.

  8. You can, but don't use toungue......he may choke.

  9. i would *scratches head*

the only reason people say you shouldnt is because they live in tanks with their p**p in it and also because he might bite you. but what the heck go ahead and kiss him. its not really something to worry about

  13. 1) Why would you want to kiss your hamster?

    2) I suppose you can if you really want to but you are at risk of catching diseases.

But hey, its up to you :) Good luck

  14. That ones up to you..

  15. There is a disease called LCMV that hamsters can transmit to humans. Usually the hamster must have contact with the house mouse that has the disease, but sometime you can get a hamster or rodent from the pet store that has the disease and they can transfer it to you. HUMAN INFECTIONS ARE RARE. The symptoms are like a flu or cold. You can protect yourself by following these simple precautions

    # Wash hands with soap and water after handling pet rodents; use waterless alcohol-based hand rubs when soap is not available.

    # Keep rodent cages clean and free of soiled bedding.

    # Clean the cage in a well-ventilated area or outside.

    # Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after cleaning up pet droppings. Closely supervise young children, especially those less than five years old, when cleaning cages, and make sure they wash their hands immediately after handling rodents and rodent caging or bedding.

    # Do not kiss pet rodents or hold them close to your face.

That is the only disease I know of and again, quite rare for people to get sick from hamsters.

  16. As long as he/she is comfortable with you and loves you and has recently been BATHED, then yes, but wash your mouth off after...Just in case...I mean, it seems no different than kissing a dog, which I do all the time, I have only had her for two years, and she has no fear of me... so, yes go ahead

  17. you SHOULDN'T because you can get germs from your beloved hamster. i still give my puppy kisses but its up to you lol.

  18. I kiss mine all the time, but he trusts me completely.
