Can I lay a 60 chain mooring with 2 CQR anchors on ends on sand bottom to hold 20ft. bilgekeel yacht?

CQR.anchors depend on a plough action which requires a long scope of chain/chain/warp.You would in all probability be OK. but personally I would lay the mooring using your 2 anchors,one either end of the ground chain and have a block (can be cement)at the base of the riding cable,please do not forget to incorporate swivel on riding part of chain;do not skimp on size of this,but you should have no worry provided the block is of sufficient weight and construction.if you are on a drying mooring then you can dig in the anchors and could dispense with the block,or use 2 good blocks instead of anchors(dig them in)

  3. that depends on the tides and the current but you should be ok
