  1. id say only if there are english subtitles, yu already have some knowledge of Korean, and yu have a dictionary on hand haha

so id say maybe not if yu have no clue about anything of Korean, but if yu were a kid maybe because when kids are little their minds are meant to soak everything in. but yur too old for that now. so unless yu know some korean already yu could learn stuff.

but if yu wanna try id say make a list of some words yu hear a lot and then look them up with a korean dictionary.

  2. yes you can but not entirely. television and other media such as ipod and mp3s can help you in the proper pronunciation, diction and accent in speaking the language. the basics, however, are best learned with the use of a book or a manual. having a tutor for the language may sound good but i advise you to seek help from other people who are fluent as well. try to gain some korean friends in order for you to learn fast.

  3. Hey I'm Korean and I don't think you can learn Korean by watching Korean TV. Maybe you could learn a few words by looking at the subtitles or if it comes up a lot. Other than that I really don't think you'll get much out of it. Unless you had a Korean friend to watch with you. If you want to learn Korean, you could find a tutor and maybe use the TV as a supplement. I hope this helps.

  4. I'd say yes you can.  I lived in a foreign country for 20 yrs, and learned the language quicker, I think that watching American programs translated into their language, and watching the actors' gestures, and keeping your ears open for familiar sounding words, and reading as much as you can.  I loved doing crosswords, to the amazement of my friends.
