Can I leave Canada? HK internation student with expired passport and student visa.?

I finished my degree yesterday(the last final exam)....Just want to go back to HK asap.

But both of my student visa and passport already expired!!!!

1,I have another passport that can mail to me, should I do it?

The other passport is PRC(Hong Kong) passport, it is not from the same organization(british international oversea)

2,How long do I have to stay before I can leave?

3,How many years will I have problem to come back canada?

Thank you very much!!!

  1. the choice is yours

the best way would be to contact them as soon as possible in order not to be restricted from going back later ........

maybe you would consider written them ?

    CanadaInternational@Canada.gc.ca .

instead of being send out by the Canadian gov. ?

  2. Yes you can leave. When leaving to your won country nobody cares. However if you just pick up and leave without calling immigration and requesting a travel document and letter of departure you can never come back to Canada unless the immigration minister grants you visa(that's very hard). The reason for that is that if you leave without informing immigration they will assume that you stay illegal in the country and you will receive deportation order even if you left already. My advise to you is just to call immigration and explain what happen. They will assign you a removal officer that will give you letter of departure and if you pay for your won ticket you will not have problems to return in the future
