  1. Yes - you can buy waterproof sheets to go over bikes which would be a good investment if you're going to leave it for a long time. Stops the seat getting wet too =P

  2. Yes.  Remember to put the cover over it, though.  Without the cover, water can trickle into the electrics and eventually you'd get corrosion.  On my bike, the engine kill switch got water in it, corroded, and my bike wouldn't start 'til I took it apart and cleaned it.

  3. I live in Ireland & leave my Harley outside under a tarpolin for much of the year because of rain. I ride the bike all year round rain, hail & shine, clean it once every 2 weeks &  spray it with ACF50 Corrosion Block. There is hardly any rust after 4 years.  If on the other hand you plan on getting the bike wet & filthy & leaving it for months without cleaning it will show a lot of corrosion very quickly.  Its down to a routine I suppose & I get as much pleasure cleaning my bike as I do riding it.

  4. Yes,as long as it's a Yam,Honda or Kwak.

  5. You can leave pretty much any motor vehicle in the weather (they are weatherproof). The only question is whether to cover it.  If it is a nice bike, Yes.

  6. Motorcycles are designed to be water-resistant.  Otherwise you would see a bunch of broken down bikes every time it rained.

Leaving it outside should be fine.

  7. You can leave any motorcycle or scooter of any brand out in the rain, as long as you put a waterproof cover on it that won't blow off, and the water doesn't rise up past the tire rubber.
