Basically, my router's Security is good enough to block my DS but accept my Wii. And, NO, my dad isn't planning on changing the settings anytime soon. So, if my Wii can connect to the router, can I connect my DS to the Wii so I can play on wi-fi?

  1. No, but you can try connecting manually. Once you click on one of the wireless connection folders just tap "Auto-Obtain IP Address - No" and you will have to input some info which can be found on your computer.

If you have done this already then all that is left is to try and persuade your father to allow your DS access to the settings.

If he absolutely won't. Buy a Nintendo DS/Wii router. It takes little memory to install on your computer and connects to your internet while working through your FireWall.

    Hope this helps!

  2. you can only link the DS to the Wii when you want to download demos off of the nintendo channel
