Can I listen to Race Scanners???

Question

Is it possible to have a scanner pick up team communications with a scanner at home, or do I need to be closer to the track???

It depends on how far you live from the track but you have to be near the track. For example at the fall dover nationwide race last year I went to walk the dogs and in the camping grounds I took it with to listen to Hamlin win the race since I didn't have tickets. You have to be close.

You can only pick it up if you are close enough to the track.

You can listen at Nascar.com to any driver that you want if you get trackpass.  It is really good.  You can get only the scanner option if you want.  It is cheaper.

You would definitely have to be closer to the track! LOL but you can subscribe to scanner chatter on NASCAR.com or hear them on DirecTV Hotpass.(Hotpass kind of sucks because you can only choose between four drivers and one of them is always Jr.)
