  1. No........................only the UK

  2. No you need a passport when you want to go to Europe! they check the passports at the airport, Eurostar and the ferries so no chance without a passport...or you have to swimm!;-)

  3. yes but you won't be able to get back into the uk , strange isn't it

  4. Yes! But only if you are travelling across EU countries!

  5. Well the easy answer is no you can't.  As soon as you get to the the ferry/channel tunnel terminal you will be required to show your passport

Other Europeans are able to show ID cards instead of a passport but the UK, despite talks about it, does not have an ID card system.

Therefore you will not be able to exit the UK without a passport

    Sorry!

EDIT - I just checked for example the eurotunnel site and it confirms it (just in case you want independent info) http://www.eurotunnel.co.uk/ukcP3Main/uk...

  6. NO

  7. on the British isles yes , including Ireland

  8. The only places you can travel without a passport are the UK, Ireland, the Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man. They form the "Common Travel Area", but you need a passport to get into the rest of Europe - the Schengen Zone, but once you're in Schengen you don't need your passport again.
