Can I look at a cop log online?

Question

Carson City, Nevada cop log.

AND.

If you get a warning by the cops, does it go in the cop log(they asked for first and last name), and does it go on a permanent record?

It wasn't that big of a deal though.

It's unlikely that you will be able to find the cop log. Also it seems as if they just took your name down in order to run a background check; they didn't actually arrest you.

This won't go on your permanent record nor will your name show up if the police search it again.

Try http://www.crimereports.com   .  very few departments participate in this though so you likely won't be able to find the information.

I doubt it. Most police logs are public record, but that doesn't mean they are required to post it. Checking your local newspaper online may be the best bet.

As far as a warning, that will not be part of any permanent record.
