Can I loose my Yahoo group if a member claims I am doing something wrong ?

Question

I banned a member for voliating her membership, she is now threatening me with legal action and contacting Yahoo group in hopes of closing my group down. Is this possible ?

What i was told, NO member can close it down, Unless its used for Drug selling & Harmless to minors, if not that? calm down & dont worry& just ban whom ever & go on with your life & block that member & ignore!!!

Well it depends but I don't think so unless you had threaten her. Here is a example..I just open a new gamil account in one of the groups i'm in and no other..i gave the owner of the group the new e-mail in prvt. Well the next day I got a invite from a women for another group..well i went to the group i'm in and checked out all the members to see if she was a member of that group. Now she was not and by this time i'm very upset to find out how she got my new e-mail if she not a member of that group and yet she wanted me to join that group. I wrote her asking how she got the e-mail and why the invite..welll she lied and said she didn't send it and the proof of it is it has her e-mail and all of the yahoo invite infor. I wrote to the other owner and she will not check things out but cover that other women ..A$%^%&%..I could report her for harvesting e-mail as thats part of the TOS Rule not do..unless you ask that person if it is ok to join there group..but to blindly send out a invite and getting a e-mail from someone or somewhere is still wrong..so I let it go even tho after days of all her lies..So it truley depends..But I don't think so just can you baned her..it not groups for yahoo to do anything as you are in your write my dear

Highly unlikely unless it was a racial issue or a couple of other things.  Is the group above board, is it an illegal subject, are you racist in the membership approval?  It can all depend but just being ticked off is NOT gonna' get you closed down.
