Question:

Can I lose 10 lbs this way ?

I'm 15, 5'0, and about 113 lbs.

I'm trying to lose 10 lbs in a month or two.

I've been running for 30 min. each morning then an hour of Wii Fit. I've also been eating healthier.

I haven't been 100% on this since I started late this summer and only been doing it for a little over 2 weeks. But I have noticed subtle differences. (Or so I think.)

But I'm going to start school and I won't be able to run.

I'm planning on doing wii fit for 1/2 - 1 hour, eating right, and I'll have P.E. at school for 45 min everyday.

Except weekends, obviously, so I'll run 30 min every Sat&Sun morning.

Can I lose 10 lbs in a month with that ?

What exercises should I do on Wii Fit ?

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks !

  1. you may be noticing a difference in your body, such as your muscles are being toned, or you are loosing a bit of belly fat, but do not fret if you do not see the numbers dropping on the scale, as you work out more you will be gaing muscle, which weighs more than fat, so you could be loosing fat and gaing muscle, and the scale can not tell you that. as for your exersice plan it sounds ok, but do not rely on wii fit completely, try running playing tennis, volleyball, or other out door activities with your friends on school days, because the wii fit is not a total body work out, also  i would recommend buying some weights so you improve your arm strength to, nobody likes flabby arms. but your wieght and hieght coordinate, pretty well, i t seems like you are in pretty good shape.  

    just keep up the good work, and stay healthy


  2. 110 for 5' is very healthy

    and it is a good idea to continue to exercise.

    i think that if you have time to do wii fit then you'll have time to run after school instead, if you want.  you could alternate.

    you'll be surprised how much time you have after school ;)

    since you're already a healthy weight it might be hard for you to lose 10 pounds. instead your body will become more toned and less soft.
