My friend is in France and I want to mail her a care package, including candy and other snack goodies. Is this okay? Are we allowed to mail packages overseas containing food?

  1. Yes...as long as it's not perishable (fruit, veggies or meat).

    Send Oreos and Dr. Pepper.

    :)

  2. As long as it isn't very perishable, it is okay even without any what I call "Instant Delivery Services" like FedEx.

  3. American and Canadian students do get care packages (usually cookies, candy, chips, etc.).  Be sure that the items are non-perishable.  No fresh meats or produce should be included. If your friend is American, she'll love Oreo cookies which are hard or impossible to find in France.  Just take your package to the post office and they will tell you which forms to fill out.  You might want to insure the package or send it registered.

  4. yes you can just fed ex it, you can send almost anything .

  5. yes just tell the postman that its food. im sure itll be ok.

  6. Since you need a friend in France, and basing on you whole heartily love to have a pen friend, you will always try possible means to mail your friend the necessary things you tend to spent with.
