Can I mail a handwritten letter to Fidel Castro?

A forward address is fine. I just want to know to what department and from there it will get to him.

I understand that you are not familiar with the Cuban Mail Services. Did you ever try to send a letter to an ordinary Cuban citizen ?? Well know that 90% of the letters do not arrive at destination. Therefore I use DHL courrier service to send my mail to Cuba , than I know for sure it will arrive and I have a tracking service via internet. In your case it's difficult the residence of Fidel Castro is secret. The only thing you can do

is send your letter to the Cuban embassy in your country.

if you simply address it to him at "Havana, Cuba", he should get it somehow.

i doubt that there would be any other "Fidel Castro Ruz"es he could be confused with...
