I need to return a shirt to a company online and I was wondering if I can put it in a large yellow paper envelope? or does it have to be in an envelope with bubble wrap? it's not really thick and fits in just fine. I don't think it's much over an inch thick.

  1. I think as long as it fits it should be just fine. Just tape it up good to make sure it doesnt come unsealed. This way in shipping it doesnt rip open or something.

  2. I would not reccommend using that sort of envelope to mail a shirt. You amy consider using one of the USPS Priority Mail Tyvek envelopes or boxes, that USPS will provide to you at no charge.

I've just seen far too many paper envelopes with stuff liek this get punctured and torn. Tyvek doesn't tear very easily.

I would also reccommend using Delivery Confirmation so that you can show evidence of the delivery if there is a problem.
