Can I make 3 or more keys function at the same time on my keyboard?

I am running a packard bell Laptop on windows XP.

The reason I need this is for playing games mainly. Theres one game that requires you to press 3 buttons at a time to unlock a door. Then theres a mario remake where you need to press your direction, press run and then press jump but jump doesn't work because I am already pressing 2 keys.

Ive tried going into control panel and keyboard and increasing the repeat rate and changing the delay to short but this hasn't helped.

There may be no possible way to this, but no harm in asking.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

  1. Try setting your controls like this:

WSAD = controls for Up down left right

    J, K , L or

    U, I, O = Shoot/run/jump etc.

The reason for this is that certain regions of the keyboard share the same wiring conduit. If you map the keyboard so that you use both sides, there should be no problem.
