All I have is Oats, Sugar, Egg, Flour, and Butter.

I don't need Cinnamon, Vanilla (Extract), Brown sugar and all of that right, I don't have any of those.

So will my Oatmeal cookies still taste good with what I have?

  1. You can do without the brown sugar but u must have flavoring. A lil whiskey would be a good substitute for vanilla:

    1/2 c. butter

    1/2 c. butter

    1/2 c. sugar

    1 c. flour

    1 tsp. vanilla or whiskey

    1 1/2 c. oatmeal

Beat butter and butter until creamy. Add sugar and flour and oatmeal. Mix and chill. Roll in balls and flatten with glass or fork on cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Sprinkle powdered sugar on them while warm.

U need some sort of flavoring, maybe you have almond, rum, butter flavoring or something to sub. with

  2. They should still taste good however, the brown sugar makes them crispier and the vanilla gives them a special flavor that you can't get elsewhere. But all in all the cookies should taste good.

  3. Oatmeal plain is a bit bland but if you have sugar to add that should make it much tastier.  I like mine that way with some blueberries, (fresh or frozen,) or with raisins and usually with a small amount of milk.  Yum Yum.

  4. Forsure use every honey or maple syrup ,and who said the need cinnamon try all spice yummy and not to mention use one of your favourite sprits ;alchoal
