Applebees, Chili's, or Outback? What is the hourly wage for a server? When is it the busiest? How busy do they get in the evening during the week?

It depends on how good of a waitress or waiter you are. The hourly wage is really low but your pay + tips has to to equal min. wadge. The busiest is lunch rush between 11am and 1pm and dinner rush between 5pm and 7pm. They are pretty busy in the evenings during the week but busier on the weekends!!

These are high volume restaurants and I think you can make decent or good tips.  The hourly wage would be half of minimum wage depending on what state you live in.  I'd say the busiest times are at night.  I went to school with a girl who worked part-time at Chili's and her tips were much better than her paycheck.  Plus you go home with pocket money every night.
