Question:

Can I make a quiche with these ingredients?

I made one once with ricotta, one egg, courgettes (zucchini), and carrots and crab meat.

Now I only have ricotta, red pepper, red onion and courgettes in the house maybe a couple others.

Is that going to be disgusting?

  1. I have a perfect website for you....www.recipematcher.com

All you have to do is tell it what ingredients you already have and it gives a list of recipes of food you can make and then it helps you make it.

    Try IT!!

It also has a facebook you should check out:

  2. Egg is a pretty important ingredient in a quiche - you didn't mention that in your list - do you have a couple?

cookingbynumbers.com will give you ideas of what foods you can make with the ingredients you have on hand.

  3. You've gotta have eggs for a quiche, sorry.

  4. The whole Idea behind a quiche is a pie crust or a casserole pan

One Egg and your mix is an omlet?? I think>>!!

  5. Well I had never heard of courgettes and didn't know it was a zucchini so am glad you asked this question as I have so many zucchini from my garden. But all those ingredients sound wonderful. But am wondering how you made a quiche with just one egg. I usually use swiss cheese in my quiche but will try the ricotta. So in your question you have just given me some great ideas. And yes, I think the crab meat and carrot would be very tasty, plus the red pepper. Go for it.. sounds great!

  6. That actually sounds reallly good!! I might try it! :)

  7. You need an egg ... and add some grated provolone or mozzarella cheese

  8. As long as you have eggs, you can make a quiche!  I'd saute your peppers and onion, add zucchini for a few moments, then add that to your pie shell before adding custard.
