I need to get a US visa fast.

If I make 2 appointments in different US embassies, and then cancel the one that's on a later date, would this cause problems for me?

Or do I have to cancel one before I make another?

  1. visa for US are made in consulates ,in one place only,

cancel one or the other, never 2 in one time, at 2 differents consulates,

besides, there consulars areas to use and not just any consulate, you must follow the Embassy rules,

it will been seen that you have done that, on the computer,

  2. In general, it's at least somewhat easier to get a visa in your home country than in another country. So, deciding which interview to take isn't just a matter of timing, unless you're from a country where you can't apply locally, like Iran. There's no particular penalty for not showing at an interview, other than the fact that you lose your money. Did you check the Visa Wait times at http://travel.state.gov/visa/temp/wait/t...

If you had, you would already know which appointment process is faster and you could have saved your time and your money.
