  1. You have to turn professional to get a official paycheck at the end of a professional tournament. If you are an amateur, sometimes there are amateur tournaments that have "skins games" where you can win a little bit of money, but not much.

if you're tiger woods status, you can become the highest paid athlete

  3. The easiest (or hardest) way to make money in golf without turning pro would be to gamble. How much you can make depends on who you are playing, how many strokes your are giving, automatic presses, etc.

How much is the least you can make? Depending on the game you are in - you could loose hundreds pretty easily.

Last place in most pro tournaments is $0 if you miss the cut.

  4. If you have to ask, you’re not going to make any money!!!

Least amount $0.00, and you will have to play greens fees.

I have a pro-friend who has a $20 skins game on Tuesdays at his course. He has brought home $200 or so. He clams he once won $2500 form a pro in Florida. He is a super good golfer but he doesn’t make any money playing, he makes money teaching.

bob, playing 15 rounds in one day must make you tired, ha ha ha.  Even if a round took 2 hours, which it doesn’t, 15 round would last 30 hours. Good luck squeezing 30 hours in one day!!!! 15 rounds, must be that 13 y/o new math!!!!

  5. Yes, you can definitely make money.  How much money is determined by how high up you place and the caliber of the tournament or tour that you play.

Here are a some last place players listed for a several of the US golf tours for 2007:

    PGA Tour -  $7,269

    Nationwide Tour - $1,024

    NGA Hooters Tour - $600

    Pepsi Tour - $12

    Jaacob

  6. If you have to ask this question, then no, you can't.

  7. i once made 75 dollars hustling people at my local course, about 15 total rounds that day. It helps if your only 13 and play better than most ppl at a course

  8. If you play now, you need to play REALLY well to make any money.  You need to be breaking par on a regular basis and you need to be practicing everyday.

If you don't play or play like the average golfer, you need to think of another way to make money. Even on the lowest of the low tours (Hooters, maybe?)  those guys are extremely good.
