Question:

Can I make money by selling custom merchandise online?

I'm 15-years-old, and looking to make a little bit of money on the side. I started looking into cafepress.com, and it seems like it'd be a good way to generate some revenue. It's free to use, and you make money off of each item you sell. The only thing it would cost me is the time to make the designs for selling, which, since I'm very experienced and enjoy graphic design, won't be a problem.

The only thing is that I know that websites tend to exaggerate just how successful you can be by using their services, so here's my question. Do I have a good possibility of making some extra cash (I'm not talking 6-figure or anything)? Or is it not worth the effort?
