Can I make my own colored contacts?

I would like to color my eye's black for this halloween similar to the Wild-Eye Blackout style, however I'm not quite willing to pay as much as they cost. Does anyone know how to color contacts to produce a completely black result?

I would not recommend attempting to tint your own contacts.  That's a great way to damage your eyes.

no do not do anything anyone else tells you! someone tried that with a permanent marker and is now blind going in for eye surgery!

Yes, take regular contacts and color them with a black magic marker. Or better yet, a permanent marker. Then stick them in your eyes.
