Or is it bad for you? Or should I add more veggies or something?

  1. yes you can.  I do it all the time for my hubby.  Just as quick, once the broth is boiling I toss in a frozen package of some frozen veggie (whatever is in the freezer) and then after that boils, add the noodles.  Someone else is right, sodium is high, as is starch but so is a can of chicken noodle soup, and this tastes better.

  2. It's your soup, LOL Make it like you want. I would add some carrots, celery and onions. Maybe some chicken too!!! LOL

  3. Of coarse you can but it will be kind of planing but it will work

  4. No, make it however you like it..

  5. yes. i do this all the time because i work in restaurants and am too tired to cut veggies and what not when i get home. of course, if you add veggies its gonna be more nutritious but chicken broth is GREAT for you. and noodles aren't bad so...

  6. It's not bad for you, but not particularly good.  It's really just sodium and starch.  If you have any fresh veggies that you can cut up and cook into the broth (or frozen will do) before adding the noodles, then you have a tastier, heartier soup.  Adding some herbs and spices will make it even better.  Some suggested veggies:  celery, onion, carrot, green beans, peas, corn, limas, zucchini or yellow squash (any or all).

  7. Yes you can, what do you think soup is. Broth is soup if it is clear without anything it is bouillon or consume. What you have with noodles is chicken noodle soup. It isn't bad for you vegetables would add to its nutritional value.
