  1. try to play other courses to see what you are capable of.

and then you might, you dont have to a tiger or phil to play in the PGA.

my neighbor played in the PGA once and he is pretty good.

  2. Not sure how old you are, or how much time you plan to commit to practice, but take a look at both Nationwide and mini tour scoring statistics.  You will find these guys are banging out sub par rounds day after day, week after week on tougher, longer courses they just see that week under full tournament rules (count em all, no gimmes).  Also, look at some of the scores of the college and juniors, they are shooting better than you most times.  Be realistic and lay out a plan with a good coach or teaching pro, get into some local amateur tournaments and go for it.  John Feinstein has a good book on qualifying school - "Q School, The Fifth Major".  Give you a sense of what guys are going through to try to make the big show.

  3. NO!!

  4. No.

You wouldn't even make all state in HS.

You need to be shooting mid to low 60's.

  5. dude a 70 on your course will shoot over a 100 at alot of the courses on the tour, agusta you would shoot like a 115, im not trying to be a jerk or anything its just whats true. find a course close to you that pros play at and see what you got, find a TPC course, then figure the pressure of playing against the best with ppl watching your everymove.

the par 3s on tour are like 250yds not like 125- 160yds like local courses

but thats not sayin you cant do it but your gonna have to practice alot more,
