  1. To make your bedroom more humid you do have several options.

    1) the easiest is to buy a humidifier

    2) you can put a container of water on top of the heat vents

    3) or just leave water in a glass or on cup.

The main things you need to make it humid is a warmer room and the water. This will help keep the moisture in the air. Using wet towels can work but they could not be soaking wet as they will just drip and soak into the floor causing mildew.

    Hope that helps

  2. Well I have 2 suggestions.

You can either buy a humidifier and that will make it humid.

Or you can just buy many houseplants and water them more frequently.

    I hoped I helped!

  3. I lived in the high desert for a couple of years - the best way I found was to use wet towels, put them on a hanger or rod so that air gets all the way around and let them dry.  It's the cheapest way and very efficient. Evaporation is the best method for moisturizing the air.  If you have a heater on make sure you keep a moist towel near the heater - that ensures that the air doesn't get too dry from the heat.  Don't use open pans or buckets - the water collects a lot of dust and the minerals from the water end up leaving a heavy residue on the pan.  Added note:  I assume you won't leave the towels soaking wet and dripping - just wet towels and wring them till the water doesn't drip.  ALSO, air is moister when cooler, like at night, the humidity increases when the air cools down - when you can open the windows then and let some of the moister air in.

  5. You can put a pan of water on the radiator. When the heat is on this will put moisture in the air. You can also buy a humidifier.
