Marriage is just a legal term defining the sexual comingling of two people and sharing of their assets under law. Being a legal arrangement it has no basis in reality. So, technically, it's probably not legal to formally marry your motorcycle.

But, in some states, presenting yourselves as a married couple will get you Common-law Marriage status. This may serve the purpose just the same and you can file joint tax returns at this point.

Of course, you don't have to get married. If it's love you can still live together and comingle to your hearts content.
