I am doing my laundry and am asking if I can mix my colour laundries with my whites. I do my reds and darks seperately all the time using dark detergeant but I usualy use sunlight for my whites and colours.

Is that safe? I just want to know so I can save a few bucks on my laundry.

  1. The difference being the temperature of the water. Whites usually use hot water to get the stains out and hot water with bleach works best for whites. Colored should use cold or warm ,to help prevent wrinkles. If you want to wash all together, do not use bleach, and be prepared to do a little ironing. You might also end up with your clothes looking like tie-dyed!

  2. Use cold water and DON'T put any bleach in

  3. use cold water but don't put jeans with whites cuz the dye from the jeans run

  4. cold water so your colors don't bleed and no bleach. You could buy detergeant with color safe bleach though if you really want to clean those whites.
