Can I mount my Sirius antenna inside my car instead of on the roof?

Can I mount my Sirius antenna inside my car instead of on the roof? I don't see why it has tp be outside the car. Has anyone had problems getting reception?

nope it must have a clear view of the sky,even the windshield will block the signal.

You can also run it through the backseat, into the trunk and onto the back of your trunk lid (on the exterior).  It's a much cleaner look.
