  1. Moving in with your daughter will have no effect on your SS if you give them your new address. If you are getting SSI, then it may effect amount you get. Don't know regulation for SSI that maybe paying your Medicare Part 1 and 2 deductions.

  3. Of course you can. You earned it. My mother moved in with me before she passed away and it did not affect her SS, nor her pensions from my late father. Who you live with has no bearing on your Social Security payments.

  4. Of course. Social security is not welfare. Social security is a type of retirement benefit that you paid into all the years that you worked. The amount of compensation you get back depends on how much money you've made throughout your working life and whether you applied for it early or later. Everyone that worked and paid into it is entitled to it, no matter where they live, rich or poor.
