my mom took my tv away from my room and i want to go live at my friends house for a few days so i can watch the olympic. im 8

This tickled me when I read this. I thought you were so much older. If you're allowed on the computer then you can watch the olympics on the computer. BUT, you should do what you're told. You're not an adult yet. You're a slave. You have to wait your turn, like all of us did. So, whatever you did for Mom to take your tv away (and you're lucky to have one in your room) then undo it by going to her with a sad face and tell her you're sorry. Perhaps a good level of sincerity and a 300 word book report would help too. Tell her what you did wrong, and what you learned about it and why you probably won't do it in the future. And give her a hug, tell her you appreciate her teaching you how to be a good boy, and make her some M&M cookies with milk. Ta ta now. Couldn't you simply watch the Olympics in another room?  Or if they're on too late, record them on a VCR or something?
